Girl Seduces Teacher

However, the BBC recently reported on a teacher/student affair story in the United Kingdom that had an interesting twist: A female student allegedly seduced her educator into having a five month affair with her. The twist in this story is the fact that her teacher is also a female. Helen Goddard, who is a 26-year-old music teacher, now faces a 15 month jail sentence for having a sexual relationship with a student under the age of 16. Although the age of consent in most states in the US is 18, it is important to keep in mind that 16 is the legal age of consent in the UK Goddard, pleaded guilty to six counts of sexual activity with the student after an anonymous email tip-off was sent to school authorities. The teacher took a trip to Paris with the student to participate in a Gay Rights march. Judge Anthony Pitts had a difficult time sentencing Goddard, and said: "This is a difficult case. The evidence showed you were having a full-on sexual relationship with the girl for many months." Pitts continued to say that the student confessed to pressuring her teacher into have a sexual relationship with her.
